Diamond Marketing Solutions (“DMS”) provides a broad range of direct marketing services including direct mail letter-shop, list management, database marketing, product and literature fulfillment, and print on demand. This company was formed by Cardinal and an experienced industry executive with the intent of creating an integrated, full-service platform company. This was accomplished through the following initiatives in which Cardinal was instrumental:

Recruitment of Senior Management.
Cardinal recruited senior management including the co-founder/CEO. These individuals had extensive industry experience running companies similar to DMS.

Development of Business Plan.
Cardinal and the CEO worked together to define and develop the company's business plan.

Acquisitions.
Members of Cardinal worked closely with the management team on all aspects of the company’s acquisition strategy. Over a five year period, they successfully acquired and integrated five key companies and several add-on acquisitions as well.

Financing Arrangements.
The Cardinal team was responsible for procuring all of the company’s acquisition and growth capital financing. This included a working capital line, term loan, and mezzanine financing.

Plant Expansion.
The Cardinal team worked closely with management in the expansion of production facilities to over 400,000 square feet in five facilities across the United States.
The culmination of these initiatives was a successful exit to a strategic buyer. |
